Jamaal Wilkes was drafted as the 11th pick in the first round 1974 by the Warriors and was traded to the lakers in 1977. In his rookie season he was named to the rookie all team and earned rookie of the year averaging 14.2 ppg and 8.2 rpg. He also won 4 championships out of his whole career. He was named to the NBA all star game 3 times. He was named on the NBA all defensive team twice. His career averages were 17.7 points per game, 6.2 rebounds per game, 2.5 assists a game. His total career points were 14,644 points, 5,117 rebounds and 2,050 assists out of his whole career. His jersey number 25 was retired by the Lakers on December 28, 2012. He was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame class of 2012.
